About the role

Donald Auto Electrical is seeking a skilled Automotive Electrician to join our team in Donald, VIC. This full-time role is crucial in ensuring the vehicles of our customers are maintained and repaired in a timely manner. As an Automotive Electrician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing and maintaining the electrical systems of a variety of vehicle makes and models. This includes farm (Agriculture) equipment & road transport vehicles.

What you'll be doing

Perform electrical diagnostics and repairs on a range of vehicle makes and models

Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults, including lighting, starting, charging and accessory systems

Diagnosing, fault finding in automotive refridgeration

Install, test and commission new electrical components and accessories

Maintain detailed records of all work undertaken

Provide excellent customer service and advise customers on recommended repairs

Maintain a clean and organised work environment

Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive electrical technologies and techniques

What we're looking for

Relevant trade qualification in Automotive Electrical or equivalent including relevant license(s) for automotive refridgeration.

Proven experience as an Automotive Electrician, preferably 3+ years

Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills

Knowledge of electrical systems and automotive refridgeration , components and wiring in a range of vehicle makes and models

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Strong customer service orientation and communication skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Commitment to workplace health and safety

Australian work authorisation is required at the time of application
