About the role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Chef to join our close-knit team at
Parkside Bar & Kitchen in St Helens, TAS. As our Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals for our customers in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. This is a full-time position based in the beautiful coastal town of St Helens.

What you'll be doing

Preparing and cooking a variety of delicious meals from our menu using fresh, locally sourced ingredients

Ensuring all meals are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation

Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment in compliance with all health and safety regulations

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years' experience as a Chef in a similar fast-paced, customer-facing environment

Strong culinary skills and a passion for creating delicious, high-quality meals

Excellent time management, multitasking and problem-solving abilities

A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene

Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work well within a team

A positive attitude and a willingness to go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction
