Shree Venkateshwara Pty Ltd t/a Merimbula is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Retail Manager to join our team at Metco Petroleum Merimbula in New South Wales.
As a leading business in the retail sector, we are looking for a highly motivated individual to manage our retail operations and ensure our customers experience top-quality service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day retail operations to ensure
smooth and efficient store management

• Lead, train, and develop a dedicated team to achieve high levels of
customer satisfaction and sales

• Monitor inventory, sales performance, and stock levels to ensure optimal
product availability

• Implement and evaluate marketing
strategies to increase store traffic and sales

•Develop and maintain positive customer relationships
to foster brand loyalty

• Manage budgets, financial performance, and cost controls to meet business
targets

• Ensure adherence to health and safety
regulations, company policies, and industry standards

•Prepare regular reports on sales, team performance,
and operational issues

• Plan and organize special displays, promotions, and advertising campaigns

•Develop and implement operational policies and
procedures for fuel retail and fast food service

•Maintain records of stock levels and product movement

•Ensure compliance with fuel retail regulations and
safety standards

• Coordinate with suppliers and manage
delivery schedules

• Plan staff rosters for extended
operating hours (5am-11pm daily)

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in retail management or a related
field

• Strong leadership skills and the ability to
manage and motivate a team

• Excellent communication
and interpersonal skills

• High-level problem-solving
ability and decision-making skills

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle
multiple tasks

• Knowledge of stock control, inventory
management, and retail software systems

• Strong sales focus with the ability to drive business growth

• A passion for customer service and creating a positive
retail environment

Qualifications:

• Relevant qualifications in retail, management, or
business (desirable)

• At least 2-3 years work experience in the retail industry as a Retail Manager

•Experience in petroleum retail or convenience store
operations (preferred)

• Understanding of fuel retail regulations and compliance requirements

• Computer literacy including POS systems, inventory management
software

• Valid Australian driver's license
