Workfast is seeking an experienced Qualified Electrical Supervisor to join our client’s team in North Sydney, NSW. This is a 6-month contract role with the opportunity to work both onsite and from home, providing compliance oversight and auditing support across the residential solar sector.

We’re looking for a dependable and detail-oriented professional who is confident managing compliance, performing site inspections, and ensuring that all electrical works meet NSW standards. The successful candidate will also act as the registered nominee with NSW Fair Trading, so current registration or eligibility is ESSENTIAL.

$65 – $75 per hour + superannuation

Monday to Friday – 40-hour week (7/8am to 4pm, flexible)

Hybrid work environment – split between home and North Sydney office

What you need

Current Electrical Supervisor Licence (NSW)

Willingness and eligibility to register as the company’s NSW nominee with Fair Trading - MUST

Strong understanding of compliance and safety requirements in the residential solar industry

Experience in auditing, inspections, and quality assurance

High attention to detail and excellent communication skills

Must be reliable, dependable, and able to work independently

Right to work in Australia and available for an immediate start

What you will be doing

Acting as the NSW Fair Trading registered nominee for the company

Conducting site visits and compliance inspections

Performing audits and ensuring all electrical work meets regulatory standards

Reviewing documentation and verifying installation quality

Providing technical advice and guidance to field teams

Liaising with internal stakeholders to support continuous improvement in safety and compliance practices
