• $52.05 per hour under a secure Enterprise Agreement (with 3.5% annual increases locked in for the next 4 years).

Hours & Work Pattern:

• Standard hours: 7:00am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday.
• Average 2–4 hours overtime/travel per week (with occasional Saturdays).

The Role:

We are currently seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join their Sydney service team as a Field Service Technician. This is a mobile role with no two days the same – you’ll carry out planned maintenance, breakdown repairs, and occasional installations across a wide range of clients and industries. You will be responsible for:

• Service, maintain, and repair lifting equipment across metropolitan Sydney (mainly Western Sydney).
• Travel regionally every 6–8 weeks (2–4 nights away, with full allowances provided).
• Conduct preventative maintenance, inspections, breakdowns, and report faults for quoting/repairs.
• Occasional installations (approx. once per month).
• Participate in a rotating on-call roster (every 4–5 weeks, with generous allowance and overtime rates).
• Work as part of a small, close-knit team of electricians and mechanical fitters.

What We’re Looking For:

• NSW Electrical Licence (Unrestricted – Supervisor or Contractor).
• Industrial electrical experience essential (ideally 3–5+ years) – backgrounds such as maintenance electricians, lift electricians, or heavy machinery are well-suited.
• Experience working with motor controls, heavy machinery, or cranes highly regarded.
• Comfortable working at heights and using Elevated Work Platforms (tickets can be provided).
• Flexibility to travel regionally and participate in on-call rotation.
• Australian Citizenship (due to defence-related work).
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and National Police Check.
