We have a great team that is experienced, passionate about providing great customer service, quality workmanship and specialists in European vehicles.

Shelly Beach Mechanical has two workshop locations: Shelly Beach and Long Jetty on the Central Coast, NSW.

We proudly partner with some great local sporting clubs, Shelly Beach Golf Club, Bateau Bay Bowling Club and Terrigal United FC.

What we are looking for:

Mechanical Trade Certificate

Strong diagnostic skills to accurately identify problems, define the scope of work required to rectify the issue

Proven experience as light vehicle mechanic - minor and major mechanical repair work

Team player, good communicator with a strong attention to detail

Current NSW (or Australian) manual driver licence

If you are a team player, confident communicator, have a strong work ethic and all round good human we'll supply on-going training where needed, Friday lunches are on us, minimal overtime, work Monday to Friday only (have your weekends free) and team events twice a year.

Nice to have:

Strong diagnostic problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues efficiently

Experience with invoicing and quoting major repairs

A/C Service and Repairs

Engine and transmission rebuilds

Experience with European and hybrid vehicles
