CPR Group is a leading maintenance and engineering provider, supporting the mining, civil, and industrial sectors across New South Wales. Known for our high-quality service and strong safety culture, we’re expanding our team for upcoming projects throughout the Hunter Valley region.

We are seeking qualified Light Vehicle Mechanics, Heavy Vehicle Mechanics, Auto Electricians, and Trades Assistants to join our expanding team. With a variety of full-time opportunities available at our Rutherford workshop as well as site-based roles across Hunter Valley mine sites, you’ll enjoy stable day shift work—Monday to Friday and day shift on a lifestyle roster.

About the Roles:

These roles include working in our fully-equipped Rutherford workshop and site-based positions, supporting mining clients across a range of heavy vehicles, light vehicles and plant. Handling a diverse range of vehicles you will contribute to our reputation as a complete maintenance solution provider.

Whether you're a qualified LV or HV mechanic, or someone looking to build a pathway into the industry, CPR Group offers development-focused roles that align with your career goals.

Mechanics can potentially progress through tailored CPR trade upgrade programs, including light and heavy vehicle mechanics upgrading to AUR31220 Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology. The CPR team have transitioned 30+ individuals through to completion of their mobile plant trade over the past three years through this pathway.

Highly Regarded Criteria:

Current Order 43 medical

Prior mine site experience

SAP experience

AUVIS and HVAIS Inspector tickets

Existing mine site inductions for Hunter Valley sites

You’ll Need:

Relevant trade qualification (for mechanics and auto electricians)

Current driver’s licence

Safety-first mindset and a willingness to work as part of a professional team

A great attitude and willingness to learn
