We are seeking two dedicated mental health professionals with expertise in trauma therapy to join our team. This is a part-time role, offering the opportunity to provide life-changing support to clients in a hybrid working model.
Key Requirements:
Experience: Minimum of 5 years delivering therapy in a clinical setting.
Registration: Full AHPRA (General or Clinical) or AASW (Mental Health or Clinical) registration.
Qualifications:
Bachelor or master’s in social work or.
Post-Graduate in Psychology
Specialist Training and Experience (at least one):
Dialectical Behaviour Therapy
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing)
Schematherapy
Sensorimotor Psychotherapy
Internal Family Systems
Role Details:
Work Model: Hybrid (50/50 split between home and office).
Schedule: 4 days per week.
Client Load: Minimum of 5 clients per day, with each session being 1 hour plus 15-30 minutes for admin work.
Additional Skills:
DBT (Dialectical Behaviour Therapy) Learning: We're excited about someone eager to learn and specialise in DBT therapy. If you're passionate about this approach, we're ready to support your growth in this area.
DBT Skill Groups: You'll have the opportunity to facilitate DBT Skill Groups, leading sessions for groups of up to 15 people, helping them navigate life's challenges with new skills.
We are willing to invest in your professional development. If you’re not yet trained in DBT (Dialectical Behaviour Therapy), we offer 18 months of paid DBT training and supervision to help you meet the requirements.
Compensation:
Base Salary: Competitive, ranging from $100,000 to $116,000 (prorated for 4 days per week).
Bonus Scheme:
For Each Additional Client Beyond 5 Per Day:
6th Client: $150 bonus
7th Client: $175 bonus
8th Client: $200 bonus
9th Client and beyond: $225 bonus per session.
