About the role

Fire Safe Services Pty Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Fire Protection Service Technician to join our team based in Regency Park, South Australia. This full-time position is responsible for ensuring the proper installation, maintenance, and repair of fire protection equipment and systems. As a critical member of our team, you will play a vital role in keeping our customers safe and compliant adhering to fire safety regulations.

What you'll be doing

Inspect, test, and maintain fire protection systems, including fire extinguishers, Hose Reels, Booster & Hydrant systems and Emergency Lighting

Diagnose and repair/replace any malfunctioning or expired fire protection equipment

Provide technical support and advice to customers on the proper use and maintenance of fire protection systems

Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations. Adhere to all clients WHS requirements onsite

Maintain accurate records and documentation of all service activities

Provide exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with clients

What we're looking for

Relevant technical qualifications or trade certification in fire protection or a related field (Certificate II or III preferred)

Minimum 3 years of experience as a fire protection service technician preferred but not essential. On the job training can be provided for a motivated applicant

Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills

Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision

Good communication and customer service skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Valid SA driver's licence

Recent National Police check, Current DCSI Working With Children Check required
