What You’ll Be Doing
In this multifaceted role, you’ll be responsible for:
Monitoring and enforcing compliance with local laws and relevant legislation
Collaborating with internal teams to identify risks and resolve non-compliance
Educating the public and promoting awareness around Livestock & Domestic Animal Control, Parking, Public Safety, and Property Protection
Navigating regulatory environments with confidence and care
Providing thoughtful solutions to complex community challenges

The Rural City of Wangaratta was formed from the merger of the City of Wangaratta, the Shires of Oxley and Wangaratta and parts of the Shires of Beechworth, Benalla and Yarrawonga. Originally known as the Shire of Milawa when the municipality was created on 18 November 1994 it was renamed the Rural City of Wangaratta on 29 June 1995.
