Located in the heart of the Mount Isa region, our client operates a fully functional underground mining and processing site. With a strong emphasis on project-based work, they are currently expanding their team and seeking skilled tradespeople to support ongoing mechanical upgrades and installations.

Your new role
We're looking for a qualified Mechanical Fitter to join the team on a FIFO roster from Brisbane or Townsville, or DIDO from Mount Isa. This is a project-driven role offering variety beyond standard fitting tasks. The roster runs on an 8/6 or 7/7 schedule (Tuesday to Tuesday) and continues through to 23 December.

What You'll Need to Succeed
To thrive in this role, you'll bring:
✅ Mechanical Fitter trade qualification
✅Current MMQ Essential
✅ Forklift licence
✅ Dogging ticket
✅ HR licence (minimum)
✅ A proactive, adaptable mindset suited to dynamic project work
✅ Prior experience in mining or heavy industry (highly regarded)
