The Shorncliffe State School Parents and Citizens’ Association (P&C) is a passionate, community-minded team working with the school to create the best environment for children and families.

We operate several successful businesses - Outside School Hours Care (OSHC), the Tuckshop and the Uniform Shop - that fund vital programs and bring our community together. We’re now looking for an experienced and motivated manager to help take our operations to the next level.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Business & OSHC Service Manager, you’ll lead the strategic, financial and operational management of all P&C business units.

This is a dynamic role with real variety, from guiding OSHC compliance and staff development to ensuring business sustainability and driving community partnerships. You’ll ensure each service runs smoothly, sustainably and in line with the P&C’s vision and values.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide strong leadership and deliver strategic and financial goals.

Oversee OSHC operations, ensuring full compliance with Education and Care legislation and the National Quality Framework.

Manage budgets, reporting and business performance across all business units.

Lead, recruit and develop staff, building a positive and high-performing culture.

Work collaboratively with, provide advice to and take direction from the P&C Executive.

Foster collaboration with families, school leadership and the wider community.

ABOUT YOU

Skilled in business, HR and financial management.

Sufficient Knowledge and Experience of OSHC or early-childhood service operations.

Confident communicator and relationship-builder.

Organised, proactive and community-minded.

Diploma level ACECQA qualification or studying toward

Ability to fulfill Nominated Supervisor requirements - current working with Children card, police check within last 6-months, Child Protection (CHCPRT025) training, First Aid or ability to obtain before start date
