Our client a leading Federal government agency is currently looking for a Cyber Architect to lead the development of secure, resilient technology solutions aligned with national cyber frameworks.

This role is pivotal in embedding security into systems from the ground up, ensuring reliability and a seamless client experience.

About The Role:

As a Cyber Security Architect, you'll provide expert guidance across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments. You'll influence technology and policy decisions, modernise key platforms, and champion secure design practices across the organisation.

Our Ideal Job Seeker:

• Strong knowledge of frameworks such as ISO 27001, ISM, PSPF, and Essential Eight.
• Demonstrated experience in developing, reviewing, and implementing secure architectures across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments.
• Proven expertise in securing cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, M365), including identity and access management, encryption, secure networking, and workload protection.
• Experience with security solutions such as Firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, DLP, and zero trust architectures.
• Skilled assessors of risks and develop effective risk management strategies
• Experience with strategic and solution architecture
  

Additional beneficial Skills:

• Industry certifications such as SABSA, TOGAF, CISSP, CISM, CCSK, or cloud provider security certifications.
  * Experience in large, complex government or enterprise environments.
  * Knowledge of emerging technologies such as AI security, container security, and microservices architectures.
