About the Role

This role provides cyber architectural expertise, drives technology and policy changes, and strengthens enterprise and public-facing systems. You will focus on modernisation, resilience, and embedding security throughout system lifecycles to improve reliability and client experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and implement secure architectures across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments
• Secure cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and M365 through identity, access, encryption, and network protections
• Assess risks and develop effective risk management strategies
• Design and implement strategic and solution architecture improvements
• Lead and mentor team members, promoting best practices and continuous improvement
• Collaborate with stakeholders to achieve secure, resilient, and compliant outcomes

Skills & Experience

• Strong knowledge of cyber frameworks such as ISO 27001, ISM, PSPF, and Essential Eight
• Experience with security solutions including firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, DLP, and zero trust architectures
• Proficiency in cloud security, including identity and access management, encryption, and workload protection
• Demonstrated ability to assess and manage risks in complex environments
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences
• Proven experience in strategic architecture and delivering secure, resilient solutions

Australian Citizenship & Minimum Negative Vetting 1 clearance is a mandatory requirement for this position.
