What we need from you:

· Strong technical background in cyber security engineering and infrastructure sustainment

· Experience across Linux, Application Control, Vulnerability Management, Privileged Access Management, PKI, and EntraID

· Ability to provide technical leadership and insights across multiple cyber and operational teams

· Industry certifications across relevant platforms (highly desirable)

· NV1 Security Clearance (mandatory)

About Our Client:

Our client is a Federal Government department responsible for delivering secure, stable, and modern ICT systems to support Australia's critical diplomatic and operational functions.

Role Description:

· Provide cyber security engineering and platform specialist support across critical ICT systems.

· Play a key role within the Cyber Sustainment Section, uplifting and stabilising the cyber security posture while ensuring business-critical systems remain fully operational.

· Deliver technical improvements across application control, vulnerability scanning, Linux environments, privileged access management, and certificate services.

· Contribute specialist knowledge to current and upcoming projects across cyber security and operational branches.

What you'll be doing?

· Support and maintain multiple cyber platforms and infrastructure

· Deliver improvements to strengthen cyber resilience and security posture

· Provide sustainment for application control platforms (Carbon Black, WDAC)

· Administer and support Tenable Vulnerability Management and RunZero

· Manage Privilege Access Management (MFA, Delinea Secret Server, EntraID)

· Support PKI and Active Directory Certificate Services

· Assist with Microsoft EntraID Cloud Sync and related cloud identity services

Your Skills:

· Linux / RHEL / RedHat Satellite / IDM / FA Policy D

· Application Control - Carbon Black, WDAC

· Tenable Vulnerability Management, RunZero

· Privileged Access Management - MFA, Delinea Secret Server, EntraID

· Active Directory Certificate Services (PKI)

· Microsoft EntraID Cloud Sync

· (Desirable) Nutanix AOS/AHV, Microsoft Windows Server, VMware, Citrix, PowerShell, Ansible, EntraID Automation
