Your opportunity:

• The Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) is a clinical leader, accountable at an advanced practice level for the coordination of provision of triage and clinical advice to Residential Aged Care Facility Clinicians supported by the Medical Officer.
• The CNC demonstrates sound knowledge of contemporary nursing practice and theory and provides clinical leadership, advice and advocacy to a multidisciplinary team and is responsible for the facilitation and provision of quality and cost effective nursing and/or midwifery services which are consistent with contemporary standards, guidelines, relevant legislation and best practice.
• The CNC is an expert in gerontic care planning and clinical assessment using advanced knowledge of contemporary treatments and outcomes to facilitate linkage to the most appropriate service to manage residents acute care needs.
• The CNC works to achieve high quality outcomes reporting against specific key performance indicators.

Our offer:

You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $82,106 p.a., comprising salary between $66,281 - $71,962 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 7) (Permanent Part Time, 38 hours p.f.)
