Housekeeping Manager
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and coordinate the day-to-day housekeeping operations across a large education campus.
Work closely with the Site Manager to ensure service delivery meets and exceeds client expectations.
Supervise and support cleaning team leaders and staff, ensuring all areas are cleaned and maintained to the highest standard.
Manage daily task allocations, rosters, and staff attendance in alignment with operational requirements.
Conduct regular inspections of classrooms, accommodation, amenities, and common areas to ensure quality and compliance.
Monitor stock levels, order consumables, and manage equipment maintenance as required.
Provide hands-on support during peak periods and ensure smooth service delivery across all shifts.
Lead by example to promote a strong safety culture, ensuring adherence to WHS procedures and site access requirements.
Assist with staff training, onboarding, and performance management in coordination with the Site Manager.
Essential Skills & Experience
Previous experience in a Housekeeping or Cleaning Supervisor/Manager role.
Background in the commercial cleaning, education, or hospitality sector highly regarded.
Strong leadership and team coordination skills with the ability to motivate staff.
Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Sound understanding of WHS standards and quality assurance processes.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the Site Manager and client representatives.
