POSITION TITLE: HOUSEKEEPING SUPERVISOR / MANAGER
REPORTS TO: Hotel Manager

Join our diverse team at our stunning, brand-new beachfront holiday apartments in Kirra. Our property features 30 luxurious units, including a mix of one, two, and three-bedroom apartments.
We are currently seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager to collaborate closely with the Hotel Manager in running houseleeping opertaions. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team dedicated to providing exceptional service and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort for our guests.
Duties & Responsibilities
With the support of the Hotel Manager, you will be responsible for lthe hotel's housekeeping functions that services the hotel's 30 serviced apartments.
This role encompasses both managerial tasks and operational involvement which includes the cleaning of apartments.
With the support of the Hotel Manager, you will recruit and train all housekeeping employees (and contractors as demand dictates).
Assist the Hotel Manager with becoming the employer of choice in the region through great team culture, employee satisfaction and a recognition program.
Develop and maintain departmental training manuals.
Hold regular briefings and meetings with others
Oversee staff time and attendance, ensuring fortnightly payroll is done within agreed timelines, and is fully compliant with all applicable industry awards and laws.
In conjunction with the Hotel Manager, you will implement all required housekeeping software and hardware identified in the hotel's technology landscape.
Foster an authentic and pre-emptive service culture.
Manage all relevant third-party contractors/vendors and supplier relationships.
In conjunction with the Hotel Manager, manage wages and linen expenses.
Develop, implement, and monitor performance standards for operations within the department. Communicate new policies effectively to all housekeeping staff and contractors.
Coordinate the daily work of the hotels cleaners across guestrooms to ensure the hotel's standards are met.
Inspections of rooms to ensure quality standards are continually met.
Monitor and maintain adequate linen and operating supplies for daily needs.
Undertake regular inspections of rooms to ensure quality standards are continually met.
Assist with the delivery of training programs.
Be fully aware and comply with the hotel's emergency and health and safety policies and procedures.

Our ideal candidate should be authentic, confident, and purpose driven - while being humble and nurturing at the same time. Authenticity across all touchpoints will be key to the hotel's success.
The ideal candidate is, energetic, highly intelligent and has hands-on experience. Available to work when needed, including weekends, holidays. Cleaning experience essential. Luxury experience is ideal.
Australian work rights are required for this position.
A minimum of 2 years of housekeeping experience is required.
A minimum of 1 years of supervisory or management experience is required.
