Application Integration Engineer

We’re looking for an Application Integration Engineer to play a key role in the delivery and support of a major Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP program. You’ll work at the centre of a large-scale enterprise integration environment, designing and building connections between Oracle Fusion Cloud and a mix of on-prem and cloud-based applications that keep business operations running smoothly.

This role suits someone who enjoys technical depth, end-to-end ownership, and the challenge of integrating modern SaaS platforms into complex enterprise ecosystems.

You’ll be contributing to a high-impact transformation project that’s reshaping enterprise systems and processes using Oracle Fusion Cloud at scale. It’s an opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers and architects on technically complex integrations that make a tangible difference to how the organisation operates.

The Role:

• Design and implement integrations between Oracle Fusion Cloud and enterprise applications (both on-premises and SaaS).
• Develop and maintain integration solutions using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST/SOAP APIs, and related technologies.
• Collaborate with technical and functional teams to translate business requirements into reliable, maintainable integration designs.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise data flows to ensure reliability, performance, and scalability.
• Ensure compliance with integration governance, standards, and security frameworks.
• Work with external vendors and coordinate contractors delivering technical integration components.
• Identify and drive improvements, simplifying integration landscapes where possible.
• Provide technical support and maintain detailed technical documentation.

What you bring:

• Proven experience integrating Oracle Fusion Cloud applications (Finance, HCM, Procurement or similar).
• Hands-on expertise in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and Oracle APIs.
• Strong understanding of integration patterns, data formats (XML, JSON, CSV), and web services (REST, SOAP).
• Experience integrating on-premises and cloud applications within secure enterprise environments.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices for integration build, deployment, and monitoring.
• A solid grasp of security principles in data and application integration.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills.
