About the Role

You'll be working in our well-equipped workshop, fabricating, welding, and repairing a variety of steel structures and products. We're looking for someone who can work from drawings, deliver quality results, and take pride in their craftsmanship.

Your Day-to-Day:

MIG welding on steel and sheet metal fabrication projects

Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications

Fabricating, fitting, and assembling metal components

Performing maintenance and repair work as needed

Ensuring all work meets quality standards and project deadlines

Maintaining a safe, organized workspace

Occasional Requirements:

Some site work may be available (optional for extra earnings)

Overtime available (coming into harvest)

What You'll Bring

Essential:

Trade qualification (Cert III Engineering – Fabrication or equivalent)

Proven MIG welding experience

Ability to read technical drawings

Current Australian Driver's License

Commitment to safety and quality workmanship

Highly Regarded (but not deal-breakers):

Oxy cutting experience

Sheet metal forming and fabrication skills

Forklift License

Working at Heights or Confined Spaces tickets

Experience in manufacturing or similar workshop environments
