About Us

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Stainless-Steel Fabricator to join our fabrication team. The ideal candidate will have at least two-year experience working with stainless steel materials for the food industry, interpreting technical drawings, and using fabrication tools and machinery to produce high-quality components and structures. This role requires precision, a strong understanding of fabrication techniques, and a commitment to safety and quality standards.

About the Role

As a 1st class welder, your duties will include:

Welding stainless steel components with TIG, MIG, & laser process with Plasma welding option

Operate and maintain fabrication equipment such as shears, brake presses, grinders, welders (TIG/MIG), and cutting tools.

Measure, cut, bend, roll, and weld stainless steel materials to specified dimensions and tolerances using hand tools and machines

Joining metal sections using welding, bolting and riveting

Filing, chiselling and grinding to smooth welds

Cleaning, polishing, filing and bathing in acidic solutions of finished products to meet required aesthetic and hygiene standards.

Essential:

Highly preferable to have at least 2 years' experience in tank fabrication for the food industry.

Substantial knowledge of stainless steel fabrication: - particularly welding, cutting folding and rolling.

TIG and MIG welding skills.

Experience in fabrication for the food, pharmaceutical, beverage and chemical industries.

Must be able to read drawings.

Must have experience in tank fabrication.

Eye for detail, and a "can-do" attitude. Good analytical skills and a methodical approach.

Team player that is capable and competent to work independently.

Must enjoy a challenge.

Must have the right to work in Australia.

Advantage to have:

Pressure ticket.

Good documentation skills with a methodical approach.

Analytical approach and problem solving ability with a creative flair.
