Site Manager

Design and Build Recruitment is looking for an experienced Site Manager with a passion for overseeing new build and refurb projects. As a Site Manager, you will play a crucial role in the successful execution of our clients new build projects. You will have your pick of Brisbane based projects and also be presented the opportunity to run region projects occasionally with all expenses covered.

Projects will range from $1M - $10M in value. They could include retail, hospitality, office, mixed use commercial, and education new build or refurbishment projects.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all aspects of the build. Take charge and own your project.
• Coordinate with the project team, subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
• Monitor project progress, identify, and resolve any issues or delays, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
• Manage and optimise resource allocation, including labour, equipment, and materials, to achieve project goals efficiently.
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Site Manager new build projects up to $1M - $10M
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, processes, and best practices.
• QBCC & First Aid licenses.
• Proficient in interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• Sound understanding and commitment to safety regulations and procedures.
