FourQuarters is exclusively recruiting for a Corporate Accountant to join a well-established and fast-growing financial services organisation in Melbourne's CBD.

The Role

Reporting to the Finance Manager with strong operational ownership of key tasks, you will be responsible for:

• Maintaining accurate financial records for the company and its subsidiaries
• Leading the month-end process, management accounts, and board reporting
• Providing financial analysis and insights to senior stakeholders
• Managing external audits and ensure statutory compliance (BAS, IAS, payroll tax)
• Preparing bi-monthly cash flow forecasts
• Overseeing accounts payable and receivable functions
• Run payroll and superannuation
• Providing ad hoc support across finance, including reviews of client financials, distributions, and tax statements

The Ideal Candidate

You'll be a proactive, detail-oriented accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Ideally, you should have:

• 4-5 years' experience in financial services in a similar role
• CPA/CA qualification
• Strong technical accounting and compliance knowledge, with demonstrated experience in managing processes autonomously
• A collaborative and adaptable approach, comfortable working in fast-paced environments
• Experience with Xero is highly desirable but not essential
