About the Role:
Reporting to the General Manager – Group Financial Reporting & Tax, this role is ideally suited to a technically strong finance professional who enjoys working across complex consolidations, tax compliance, and group reporting.

It presents an excellent opportunity for either:

• an experienced Manager seeking a broader, hands-on corporate role in a large, dynamic environment, or
• a Senior Financial Accountant / Senior Tax Accountant / Group Accountant ready to take the next step and broaden their technical and commercial exposure.

You’ll take ownership of key reporting and tax deliverables, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and timeliness across all financial outputs. The position offers exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to contribute to a range of business and acquisition-related projects.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing and reviewing group consolidations and statutory reports
• Managing tax calculations, returns, and compliance across multiple entities (GST, FBT, income tax)
• Supporting acquisition accounting, completion accounts, and subsidiary equity changes
• Coordinating with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure accurate and timely reporting
• Maintaining strong financial controls, ensuring compliance with accounting standards
• Identifying opportunities for process and systems improvement within reporting and tax functions

This is a hands-on, technically diverse position within a growing and evolving organisation — ideal for someone who thrives on challenge and complexity.

Your Profile:

You’re a detail-driven finance professional with deep technical expertise in financial reporting and tax within a large or multi-entity business. You may already operate at manager level or be a capable senior accountant ready to take on a broader remit and greater responsibility.

You’re confident working autonomously, have strong analytical skills, and are comfortable collaborating with senior stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Key attributes:

• CA or CPA qualified
• Solid experience in group reporting, consolidation, and tax
• Sound understanding of accounting standards and corporate compliance
• Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
• Self-motivated and proactive, with a continuous improvement mindset
