About the role

Turrell Building Services Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Site Manager to join our team with the office in Galston NSW. Our projects are located primarily in Sydney's North West region. This is a full-time position that will involve overseeing the daily operations and coordination of a construction site. As the Site Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, liaising with client and the office and ensure the highest quality standards are adhered to by all involved.

What you'll be doing

Develop and implement project plans & schedules for your site

Coordinate and supervise the work of construction team, subcontractors, and suppliers and be working on the tools also when time allows.

Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed to ensure deadlines are met

Liaise with clients, office, and other stakeholders to address any issues or concerns

Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, safety regulations, and company policies

Manage on-site resources, including equipment, materials, and labour

Provide leadership and mentorship to the construction team

What we're looking for

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Site Manager or Foreperson in the residential construction industry

Demonstrated ability to lead and manage construction projects from start to finish

Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and contracts

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Highly organized with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively

Familiar with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and construction best practices

Valid Construction (White Card) certification

Current Australian driver's licence with reliable vehicle access

Relevant trade qualification (carpentry, building, or related construction trade preferred)

Current First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within 3 months

Australian citizenship with permanent residency
