Your responsibilities will include:

Work closely with our Safety & Compliance team to coordinate and schedule driver assessments and training.

Provide support to the Safety & Compliance Manager in promoting a culture of safety, compliance, and responsibility across the organization.

Assess the knowledge, competence, and skills of both new and existing drivers.

Provide detailed, constructive feedback reports to drivers that are assessed.

Assist the Safety & Compliance Manager to maintain our accreditations through successful completion of audits (NHVR, HACCP, AMCAS, etc.).

Facilitate and conduct training with new and existing drivers, including driver upskilling.

Conduct driver assessments - both on the road and at customer sites.

Develop a strong understanding of Hawk Logistics' contractual obligations and reinforce them through training, and applying interventions as required.

Skills & Experience:

A current Multi Combination (MC) class driver's license or higher.

Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (Required).

Experience working in a Transport & Logistics business.

Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word) essential.

Quick learner with ability to pick up safety and fleet systems.

High level of organizational and time management skills.

High attention to detail.

Ability to solve problems and demonstrate initiative.

Ability to work autonomously.

Ability to prioritize critical tasks.

First Aid, and/or Fire Warden training desired.

Current forklift license desired.
