About the Role
As an MTA Trainer and Assessor, you’ll play a crucial role in shaping the next generation of skilled automotive professionals. Your job will include:
- Delivering engaging, high-quality training at our Royal Park Training Centre and employer worksites.
- Mentoring apprentices to help them build skills and confidence in their trade.
- Assessing competency and providing hands-on guidance in line with industry standards.
- Building strong relationships with apprentices and employers to support industry growth.
What We’re Looking For
- Automotive Trade Qualification in a relevant field (Light Vehicle or Heavy Vehicle).
- Industry experience with up-to-date technical knowledge.
- A passion for teaching and mentoring (previous training experience not required).
- A valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel across both metro and regional SA for workplace visits.
- Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
Already have your Cert IV in Training and Assessment? Even better – you’ll be ready to start your Trainer and Assessor role straight away!
