I’m a fun-loving 45-year-old guy with Cerebral Palsy and epilepsy, living independently with the support of my amazing family and dedicated team. I’m searching for an independent contractor (ABN required) to join my crew and help me live my best life!

About the Role

Day: Saturdays weekly – 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM (includes a pre-planned community activity)

Additional shifts: Occasionally available when team members are on leave

Location: Cornubia, QLD

Pay Rates:

Weekdays – $55/hr

Saturdays – $80/hr

Sundays – $95/hr

Sleepover (inactive) – $150/shift

Public Holidays – $105/hr

Team meetings – $60 flat rate (held every 6 weeks)

What You’ll Do

Provide personal care, light housekeeping, and meal preparation

Support me during outings and social activities

Drive my automatic, wheelchair-accessible van for community outings

Operate hoists for transfers (full training provided)

Participate in regular paid team meetings and ongoing training

About Me

I’m an easy-going, social guy who loves getting out into the community.
You’ll often find me:

🏄‍♂️ Swimming, surfing, bowling, or sailing
🌵 Running my succulent market stall
I communicate using my iPad and thrive with a team of patient, positive, and reliable people who help me achieve my goals and independence under the guidance of my family and allied health team.

What I’m Looking For

Essential Criteria:

Excellent spoken English and communication skills

Over 25 years old (for vehicle insurance purposes)

Valid driver’s licence and willing to drive my personal van

NDIS Worker Screening Check

First Aid & CPR certification

Fully vaccinated

Willing to complete Epilepsy Management course and NDIS online modules

Covered by Public Liability & Professional Indemnity insurance

Punctual, reliable, and able to work independently within established care plans
