The Role

Exciting opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Assistant /High Reach Fork Lift Driver to join the Team at our Banksmeadow plant, for a well-established family owned business in the Food Service Industry. The role requires availability from Monday to Friday 03.00am till 11.30am and Saturday 02.00am till 07.00am.

Your day to day will involve :

  • Storage of raw materials, packaging and finished goods
  • Working with warehouse team to ensure availability of raw materials to production
  • Issuing stock to production daily, in a timely fashion in line with operational requirements
  • Warehouse order, stock rotation, stock location
  • Accuracy of RF scanning process, and system compliance
  • Stock take reporting in line with company reporting requirements
  • Ensure all plant and equipment is operated safely
  • Ensure all company policies and procedures such HR, Health & Safety, Food Safety, PPE, GMP, are adhered to

About you:

  • Experience in food manufacturing/food service industry, within the meat industry with product knowledge (highly desirable)
  • Tertiary qualification in Warehousing, Transport, Logistics or related discipline (desirable)
  • Current Forklift License, with a minimum of 3 years’ experience & Crowne Joystick experience
  • Current drivers’ licence
  • RF Scanning and stock taking experience
  • Able to physically meet the demands of the role, and working in a refrigerated environment
