My client is a leading life insurer that has been experiencing a strong growth in customers in recent years.

The role of the forensic accountant will see you responsible for:

• Conducting forensic financial investigations to assist the claims teams
• Providing expert opinion on complex financials to claims teams
• Coaching, mentoring and guiding non financial claims professionals to further develop their knowledge
• Working to tight SLA's in the reviews of complex financial structures relevant to the claim.

You will be able to demonstrate

• A relevant degree (ideally accounting but commerce also considered)
• CA/CPA qualification or part qualification and studying
• Excellent knowledge of accounting standards (AASB and AGAAP)
• Ability to explain complex financial structures to non financial professionals (Claims Team)
• Extensive experience in forensic accounting and or financial investigations
• Prior experience of working within the insurance sector, ideally in personal injury forensic accounting
• Excellent communication skills
