Southport Auto Recyclers is a used automotive parts recycler based in Southport, Qld, on the Gold Coast.

We welcome interstate applicants looking to relocate to the Gold Coast.

We are made up of a small dynamic team striving to offer industry-leading service to the retail and trade industry dealing in New and Used auto parts along with scrap metals.

Complete computerized inventory will allow an applicant with new parts experience to easily convert into a used parts environment or a hands on mechanic looking to remain in the industry but move off the tools, basic computer skills are a must.

Pinnacle pro, eBay and social media experience is an advantage but not essential in the role. Strong knowledge of various vehicle makes and models is an advantage.

The role is sales based, used automotive parts and is predominantly phone sales. The role does not involve any hands on vehicle dismantling or parts removal.

About the role

Manage and process orders and inquires received via phone and online in a professional manner, process payments, shipping notes and work orders.

Interpret parts, assisting customers with part inquiries and product information

Insurance quotation and part sourcing

Vehicle assessment and purchasing

Basic freight distribution and management.

Benefits and perks

Operating hours are Monday to Friday 7am to 5pm five days a week. Employment is full time so hours are flexible within these time frames.

Skills and experience

Automotive spare parts knowledge essential

Attention to detail and accuracy are very important

Strong customer service orientation with excellent interpersonal and telephone skills

Basic computer skills

Reliable honest work ethic with a friendly approach and an ability to work well in a small team
