Casual Retail Security Officers – Gold Coast & Tweed Heads
Looking for a dynamic role where every shift brings something new?
We’re hiring casual Security Officers across several key Gold Coast locations — Robina Town Centre, Australia Fair, Smith Collective, and Tweed City (just across the NSW border). These roles offer flexibility, variety, and the chance to grow into permanent opportunities.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Delivering exceptional customer service and front-line support
- Proactively identifying and managing risks
- Responding to medical and security incidents
- Accurately reporting and documenting events
- Supporting emergency services and following protocols
- Using conflict resolution and de-escalation techniques
What You’ll Need
- Current QLD Security Licence with Crowd Control function
- For Tweed City, a NSW Security Licence or mutual recognition across QLD/NSW is required
- Valid First Aid & CPR certificates
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A customer-first mindset and professional presentation
- Flexibility to work across a rotating 24/7 roster
- Experience in regulated environments (desirable)
