About the role:

This apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to develop practical skills and gain hands-on experience. Your duties will include but not be limited to:

• Rotate through Parks Maintenance, Tree Maintenance, Sports fields and Bushland teams.
• Assist with maintaining parks, gardens, and public open spaces.
• Gain hands-on experience in planting, pruning, mowing, and irrigation.
• Learn about tree care, bushland management, and environmental sustainability.
• Develop a broad skill set for a rewarding career in horticulture and open space maintenance.

• Enjoy hands-on, physical work in all weather conditions.
• Have a positive attitude and strong willingness to learn.
• Work well in a team and follow directions safely and effectively.
• Show an interest in the environment, plants, and maintaining community spaces.
