About the role:

This apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to develop practical skills and gain hands on experience in:

As a Sports Turf Management Apprentice, you'll help maintain golf courses, sports grounds, and landscapes. You'll work on various turf surfaces, learning turf care-mowing, irrigation, drainage, and pest control-while completing a nationally recognised qualification.

• Assist with maintaining turf areas including greens, tees, fairways, and roughs
• Operate machinery and complete daily checks and documentation
• Support irrigation operations and maintenance
• Contribute to the care of trees, gardens, and landscaped areas

What we're looking for - Skills & Experience

• A genuine interest in turf management or outdoor work
• Ability to commit to a full-time 4-year apprenticeship, including practical studies
• Willingness to learn, follow instructions, work in a team, and demonstrate reliability.
• Good physical fitness, with strong attention to safety and detail.
• A current driver's licence, along with the ability to pass a pre-employment medical, obtain a clear National Police Check, and hold (or be able to obtain) a Working with Children Check, is required for this role.
