About the Role

Join the Australian Museum's dynamic marketing team as a Marketing Coordinator and play a key role in promoting one of Australia's most prestigious cultural institutions. This diverse position offers the perfect blend of traditional and digital marketing, combining strategic campaign implementation with hands-on execution across multiple channels.

As a key member of our energetic marketing team, you'll develop and execute small to medium campaigns, support the successful delivery of major campaign efforts, lead key relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and manage AM owned channels.

We are advertising to backfill the role while the role holder is taking leave.

Employment Status:

· Clerk Grade 5/6

· Fixed term for 10 months

· Full time 35 hours per week

You will be paid a competitive annual salary $99,938 - $110,271, plus employer's contribution to superannuation (currently 12%) and annual leave loading.

About you

We are looking for a motivated and innovative marketing professional to join our marketing team and help promote our galleries, exhibitions, events, and world-class scientific work.

You will be a collaborative team player with exceptional project management skills and enjoy working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where every day brings a new challenge. Also importantly, you'll love the art of marketing!

What We're Looking For

· 3+ years' experience in marketing coordination, preferably in arts, culture, or tourism

· Strong digital marketing skills including social, ppc, email marketing, and web analytics

· Experience with content management systems and digital advertising platforms

· Excellent project management abilities with keen attention to detail

· Understanding of brand management principles and style guide implementation

· Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and marketing automation tools is a plus but not required.

· Strong analytical skills with experience in campaign reporting and optimisation

Key knowledge and experience

· Proven experience in delivering integrated marketing and communication plans that meet audience, revenue and branding objectives.

· Project management skills with the ability to think creatively, plan, collaborate and execute on multiple projects simultaneously in a complex organisation.

· Strong communication experience, including written and oral skills, relationship management and negotiation skills.

Essential Requirements

· Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in marketing, advertising or communications, or related field.
