The Role
We are seeking fully registered Psychologists (AHPRA) or Accredited Mental Health Social Workers (AASW) with experience counselling in private practice to join our team. This role would suit both an experienced counsellor as well as an enthusiastic early career counsellor.
We have multiple contractor positions, including lucrative evening positions currently available at our clinic in Footscray. We ask for a minimum of 2 days per week to maximise opportunities for clients to see you.

60/40 percentage split plus Superannuation
Choose the kinds of client types you’re willing to see – NDIS, TAC, Workcover, Victims of Crime, or stick to solely private-paying clients
About You
We work across a range of presentations, and value our Practitioners’ skills in providing trauma-informed, evidence-based therapy to any of the following areas:
ADHD and Autism
LGBTQIA+ community
Relationship counselling
Trauma and PTSD
Eating disorders
Personality disorders
Adjustment disorders
General mental health concerns
Additionally, we have a high regard for Practitioners who utilise any of the following modalities in their practice:
Emotion-Focused Therapy
Internal Family Systems
EMDR
Gottmann Method
Essential criteria:
Full registration with AHPRA or AASW
Ability to register for own provider number
Own ABN
Professional Indemnity Insurance
Working With Children Check (if seeing clients under the age of 18 years)
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a wider team
Ability to self-manage administrative tasks, including case notes, writing letters to referrers, and writing reports as necessary
