YOUR ROLE: A CALL TO PASSION AND PURPOSE
If you have a deep passion for people and a genuine understanding of disability employment or mental health, we want you on our team as a Disability Transition Mental Health Worker. Your role is client-driven and goes beyond the conventional employment service. It's about delivering quality mental health support and facilitating a smooth transition into employment, ensuring a genuine match between the individual served and the business's needs.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
Working one-on-one with a small caseload of clients, evaluating their skills, talents, and mental health needs.
Facilitating a personalized transition plan, addressing mental health barriers to employment.
Utilizing strong observational skills and recognizing the importance of non-verbal communication cues.
Collaborating with a community network to train effective communication techniques, accommodations, and natural supports in the workplace.
Working out in the field with clients or via telehealth.
WHAT WE VALUE:

Possess a valid driver's license and a reliable, fully insured vehicle.

Comfort with diversity, compassion, and exceptional listening skills.
A degree in Allied Health or a related science area (e.g., psychology, counselling, social work, or a Mental Health diploma).
