An exciting opportunity for an experienced Fire Technician to join the Service and Construction Team at Sydney Fire Group. We're an Australian-owned, fast-growing fire protection company with a strong commitment to our people, safety, and service.

This role will see you working across construction, service, and maintenance projects, with a focus on the installation, testing, and servicing of fire protection systems and related equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Installation of dry fire systems in existing and new buildings

Work on ground up construction sites completing a wide range of wiring requirements with ongoing support from project managers.

Upgrade of existing fire systems across Sydney and NSW.

Additional responsibilities

Monthly, 6-monthly, and annual testing of:

Fire indicator panels

Emergency and exit lighting

Portable fire equipment

Collaborate with Supervisors and Service Coordinators to complete work efficiently and on schedule

Maintain compliance with AS1670, AS2444, AS/NZS 2293.1:2018 and relevant BCA codes and Australian Standards

$40–$55/hr + Super (based on experience)

Fully maintained company vehicle (Car allowance available), fuel card & company phone

What You’ll Need

Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident

NSW Driver’s Licence

White Card (Construction Induction Card)

Minimum 2 years of industry experience

Strong understanding of AS1670,AS2444, AS/NZS 2293.1:2018, Australian Standards & BCA Codes

Good communication skills and a proactive approach to work

The ability to pass a NSW police check

Electrical License favourable
