About the role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cabinet Maker to join our team at Blaze Cabinets in Sumner, Queensland. As a full-time Cabinet Maker, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality custom cabinets and furniture for residential and commercial clients. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a reputable and growing company in the Cabinet Making industry.

What you'll be doing

Interpret design specifications to create custom cabinet and furniture pieces

Operate a variety of woodworking machinery and tools to measure, cut, shape, and assemble cabinet components

Ensure all work meets quality standards and client specifications

Maintain a clean and organised workshop environment

Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the project lifecycle

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years of experience as a Cabinet Maker or an apprentice

Trade certificate in cabinet making is required

Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, machinery, and safety protocols

Essential experience with CNC machines, edge bander, and panel saw is required

Proficiency in reading and interpreting design plans and technical drawings

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Strong communication and customer service skills

Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Australian work rights are required for this position
