Title: Crew Member - Maintenance, Permanent - Full-time Role, 38 hours per week

Salary Range: $65,166.42 to $75,733.98 per annum + super (subject to skills and experience)

The Construction and Maintenance Business Unit is responsible for the delivery of a comprehensive range of construction and maintenance services across the organisation. The Unit is committed to excellence in service delivery, ensuring timely and accurate advice while adhering to industry best practices. It also prioritises the development of innovative, cost-effective, and environmentally sustainable solutions to complex operational challenges.

The Construction and Maintenance Business Unit undertakes works and services across a diverse portfolio of assets, including, but not limited to:
• Roads infrastructure
• Footpaths
• Kerb and Gutter
• Stormwater Drainage
• Retaining Structures
• Netted Tidal Swimming Enclosures
• Traffic Management Facilities Public Street Signage

There are multiple vacant positions, and these roles will work out of one of Councils Depots located at Balgowlah, Cromer and Warriewood. Our opportunity:

The key focus areas of this role include:

1)Undertake general labouring tasks as required by the Team Leader. This may include manual handling, concrete/asphalt work, drainage, landscaping and associated street furniture works

2) Safely operate a range of plant and equipment

3) Learn, promote and support compliance with Work Health and Safety policies and procedures and ensure safe working practices and traffic control are maintained

About you:

We’re looking for multiple skilled and motivated Crew Members to join our construction and maintenance teams based at Balgowlah, Cromer and Warriewood Depots. You’ll bring hands-on field experience and teamwork skills to a team passionate about making a difference to our community.
