The Role

Join our team as a Service and Maintenance Electrician . This role involves supplying electrical support at various client sites across the food industry. Great variety of manufacturing sites around Melbourne Metro area . Company car supplied

Bring your Manufacturing Plant experience, along with a working knowledge of PLC's, VSD drives and the ability to read and understand Electrical Drawings.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out break down repairs through fault find diagnostic methodologies including electrical repairs including high speed packaging machinery.

Conducting/carrying out preventative maintenance programs on all machinery/equipment.

Participate in continuous improvement projects across the facility.

Installation, assembly and modification of equipment.

Ensure maintenance records are up to date.

PLC and safety systems and instrumentation.

Drive and deliver on improvements in machine efficiency, utilization and safety.

General maintenance to improve factory performance.

About You

The successful applicant will have the following to be considered for the role:

5+ years experience as A Grade electrician.

2+ years food manufacturing environment experience.

Demonstrable diagnostic and fault finding skills.

Variable speed drive experience.

Proactive approach to OHS.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues and customers delivering exception client service.

Bring an engaged, motivated and professional attitude.

Ability to thrive under pressure with excellent time management ability.
