We’re currently seeking an experienced and motivated Leading Hand Formwork Carpenter to join our growing team on a range of commercial projects. This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and lead a team of formwork carpenters and labourers on-site

Interpret construction drawings and ensure works are delivered according to plan and specifications

Coordinate daily site activities and liaise with site supervisors

Ensure safety, quality, and productivity standards are met

Assist with setting out, erecting, and stripping formwork

Problem-solve and adjust plans to meet construction timelines

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years experience in Leading Hand role

Proven experience in a Leading Hand or supervisory role

Strong understanding of formwork systems

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings

Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills

Current White Card

Relevant trade qualification in carpentry
