About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled ICT Support Technician to join our team at Telequip' in Cairns, Queensland. In this casual role, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintaining the organisation's IT infrastructure and systems. You will play a crucial part in ensuring our employees can work efficiently and seamlessly.

What you'll be doing

Providing first-line technical support to users, troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues

Installing, configuring and maintaining computer systems, software and peripherals

Monitoring and maintaining the company's network, servers and other IT systems

Documenting technical processes and procedures

Assisting with the implementation of new technologies and IT projects

Ensuring compliance with IT security policies and procedures

What we're looking for

Proven experience as an ICT Support Technician or similar role

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in ICT Support Technician or similar technical role

Strong technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills in computer hardware, software, networks ,VOIP ,Firewalls and IT systems

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Knowledge of IT security best practices

Relevant qualifications in Information Technology or a related field

Certificate III/IV in Information Technology or related discipline required

Valid Australian work visa or work authorisation required
