Join Noosa Council as our ICT Network & Cloud Administrator and own the secure, high-availability backbone that keeps our people connected and community services running. You’ll lead the design, implementation and governance of modern network and cloud platforms, covering routing, switching, wireless, firewalls, identity, monitoring, backups and DR, optimising performance with automation, solving complex issues end-to-end and shaping our standards and roadmaps. What you’ll do
Scope, design and deliver network and cloud projects using Council’s project methodology.
Manage and maintain core ICT infrastructure (network, cloud and supporting systems).
Uplift security posture, monitor alerts, liaise with our managed security provider, and administer access controls and endpoint protection.
Document policies, procedures and training; provide clear, expert advice to stakeholders.
Troubleshoot complex incidents to root cause and implement lasting fixes.
Contribute to ICT infrastructure strategy and mentor colleagues to build organisational capability.
Maintain accurate asset, software, password and network address registers and manage key vendor contracts.
About you
You’re a hands-on network/cloud professional with proven experience supporting IT networks (ideally in Local Government). You bring expert SOE deployment and management across devices and peripherals, deep knowledge of Microsoft Azure and 365, and strong TCP/IP fundamentals. You’re confident across Windows, Office and other desktop platforms, and you diagnose and resolve issues spanning desktop, server, cloud and network. You write crisp documentation, communicate well with diverse customers, and juggle priorities to meet deadlines. Essential: tertiary IT qualification (or equivalent experience) and a C-class driver’s licence. Desirable: ITIL Foundation.

Remuneration
Level 6.1 $104,409 base p.a. (plus 12% super and 17.5% leave loading), total remuneration package $118,513 for a permanent full-time employee.
