Are you a finance professional with compliance experience and a deep interest in public sector frameworks? A leading regulator’s Finance team seeks a Financial Framework Advisor to support adherence to Commonwealth financial rules and provide insightful advice across the organisation.

What you will do

• Lead compliance reporting under the PGPA Act and the Commonwealth Resource Management Framework
• Monitor legislative obligations, identify non‑compliance trends and recommend remediations
• Review transaction data and perform analysis to support reporting and control assurance
• Assist policy development, education programs, procedures, governance and internal advice
• Oversee administration of corporate card and insurance policy arrangements
• Build effective stakeholder relationships and collaborate with your Manager and internal groups
• Remain current with legislative, market and best practice developments, applying them to ASIC’s environment

What you bring

• Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or Commerce (or equivalent)
• CPA or CA, or actively working towards certification
• Sound understanding of the PGPA Act (or comparable legislation)
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and capability with trends and risk identification
• Experience or knowledge of compliance, control frameworks and monitoring processes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; stakeholder‑management ability
• Demonstrated time management, risk awareness, adaptability and business systems literacy
