ABOUT THE ROLE

• Permanent Part-Time
• Working Monday & Friday, 13.5 hours per week

This welcoming, not-for-profit Community Kindergarten offers an engaging, play-based learning environment for sessional 3-year-old and 4-year-old groups. The kindergarten’s large, light-filled playroom and spacious outdoor area provide endless opportunities for exploration, creativity, and growth. Supported by a team of passionate and dedicated educators, children are encouraged to develop to their fullest potential within a warm, caring, and inclusive environment.

You will join the 3-year-old group in a permanent part-time capacity as part of a collaborative teaching partnership. Working closely with the 3-year-old Early Childhood Co-Teacher, the 3-year-old educator, and the broader teaching team, you’ll help deliver a high-quality early learning program that nurtures curiosity and confidence. We’re seeking an experienced and committed educator who thrives in a team environment and is looking for a long-term, stable role within a supportive and community-focussed kindergarten.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or equivalent as recognised by ACECQA
• Minimum 2yrs working with 3-4 yr olds and ideally have working experience with Community or sessional kindergarten
• Current first aid – including CPR, asthma and anaphylaxis training
• VIT Registration
• Mandatory Reporting Certificate
• Police Check
• Knowledge of VEYLDF and NQS.
• Knowledge of Licencing and Regulations Requirements
• Commitment to maintaining current knowledge and attend additional training as necessary
