Here at River Dental in Gympie, we are all about clinical mastery and patient service. Our practice has been established for over 30 years so we have a loyal patient base and busy books. Between our clinicians we provide the full range of services including orthodontics (braces and aligners), implants, botox and fillers. You will have the opportunity to have clinical autonomy and to practice your full scope. Exceptional debridement is a key to your role; however you will also treat mild to moderate perio cases, children’s dentistry, in chair and take home whitening, mouthguards, and help our principal dentist with braces and aligner cases. Prior experience with orthodontics is preferred as you will have the opportunity to be involved in orthodontic appointments such as record taking, bonding and removing attachments for aligners, deband, orthodontic adjustment.

We are ideally looking for a hygienist or oral health therapist with at least one year of experience, however we will consider someone with less experience if it’s the right fit. This role will commence in December 2025/January 2026 as our hygienist of 10 years is returning from maternity leave in a reduced capacity. It will be 3+ weekdays, and between our long-term loyal patient base and new patient numbers, we expect you to reach full books very quickly. Remuneration will be in line with skills and experience. You will also have a full time DA as well.
