About the role

Northshore Dental Care is seeking a passionate and experienced Oral Health Therapist to join our established dental practice in Paradise Point, QLD. This is a part-time opportunity, with the possibility of moving to a full time role in future. Currently the role is for 4 days per week.

We need an operator who can provide high-quality dental care and treatment to our patients.

What you'll be doing

Performing a range of procedures. Dental examinations, oral hygiene and periodontal maintenance, preventive treatments, restorative treatment

Providing oral hygiene education and advice to patients

Emergency examinations and treatment where appropriate. Triage and information collection for the dentist where more extensive works are necessary.

Collaborating with the dental team to ensure efficient and effective patient care

Adhering to all relevant dental regulations and professional standards

What we're looking for

A registered Oral Health Therapist with a Bachelor's degree in Oral Health or equivalent qualification

At least 2 years of experience working in a dental practice, preferably in a similar role

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently

A commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care
