Content Creator
Coffey and Tea
Posted 29 days ago
The Role
You’re a hands-on content creator/storyteller first — video, photo, social — but you also get that why behind it (strategy, narrative, brand). You’ll work closely with our Content Coordinator (and the rest of the team) to produce content that hits hard, looks gorgeous, and feels deeply WA.
You’ll:
Shoot, edit, and produce video content (long-form, short-form, Reels, TikToks, stories)
Capture photos and visual assets (on location and in-studio)
Write captions, scripts, blog snippets, social copy — content that carries voice, flavour, and connection
Work with the Content Coordinator to conceptualise and execute creative campaigns
Collaborate with video producers, designers, and other creatives when needed
Stay on top of content trends, especially for social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.)
Maintain strong visual and messaging consistency with brand guidelines
Use data/insights to tweak and optimise content over time
About You
Must-haves:
You live and breathe WA — know the regions, seasons, produce, F&B landscape, hospitality character.
You’re an epic video creator — shooting, editing, delivering polished output.
Familiarity with basic design tools (Canva, Adobe CC, etc.).
Strong visual sense and storytelling instincts.
Solid writing skills (captions, snappy hooks, short-form, etc.).
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
Organised, deadline-driven, able to juggle multiple content projects.
A can-do attitude, curiosity, and willingness to experiment (fail fast, learn faster).
Nice-to-haves:
Experience in tourism, hospitality, food & beverage sectors.
Knowledge of content metrics/analytics.
Drone videography, sound design, or advanced editing skills (bonus points).
What You’ll Get
A role where your content matters — you’ll work on brands and projects deeply tied to place and experience
Flexible/hybrid working (a mix of home, coworking, and location shoots)
A supportive, passionate team that values creativity, experimentation, and storytelling
Opportunities for growth — as Coffey & Tea expands, your role can expand too
The chance to live & breathe WA, creating content about the places you love, for people who care
