We're looking for casual cleaners to join our team working on some of Adelaide's biggest events and festivals.

About the role

The job of the Cleaning Attendant is to clean and sanitise portable toilets and showers so they're ready for use.

This is a hands-on role that requires a reasonable level of fitness.

Yard-based cleaning:

Pressure wash and deep clean portable toilets and showers after events

Restock consumables (toilet paper, hand soap, paper towels)

Help maintain an organised work area

Typical shifts: 8am-3pm at Para Hills

Live event work:

Manage your assigned area checking and restocking toilets throughout the event

Keep cubicles and surrounding area clean and tidy (sweep, wipe down, restock supplies)

Spill cleanup as needed

For reliable, responsible cleaners: We offer opportunities for additional shifts including function close-downs and deep cleaning work at premium events.

What we offer

Award wages from $30.35/hour, paid weekly

Flexible shifts: from 1-2 days/week up to 5 days for the right people

Plenty of hours during event season (Oct-Apr) to boost your income

Reduced but consistent shifts during quiet season (May-Sept) for reliable team members

Fully paid training and ongoing support

All PPE and cleaning materials provided

About you

To be successful here, you need to:

Have reliable transport to reach shift locations on time (Para Hills yard, plus various event sites in and around Adelaide)

Be physically fit - yard work involves pressure cleaning and being on your feet for full shifts

Work efficiently and independently after training - live events especially require you to manage your own area

Be available for weekend and evening shifts during event season

Show up when rostered and maintain standards throughout your shift

Pay attention to detail so each unit is properly cleaned and ready for use

Previous cleaning experience is valued but not essential. What matters more: reliability, work ethic, and taking pride in doing the job properly.
